COMBINES 6th TECHNOPRENEURSHIP


As part of IE-EMG Week the Office of Creative Works and Directed Research for Innovation and Value Enrichment (C-DRIVE), and Think and Tinker Labs in partnership with IE-EMGs Circle of Management, Business and Industrial Engineering Students (COMBINES) ETYSBs Mapúa Junior Marketing Association (MJMA) launches the 6th Technopreneurship. This event helps foster innovation and make way for bright new ideas, products, services, and concepts using technological solutions to existing problems.



A little background of the two organizations that helped make it happen. The Circle of Management, Business and Industrial Engineering Students commonly known as COMBINES is a business and engineering organization that focuses on providing a stimulating campus experience that promotes academic excellence and leadership development. on the other hand, The Mapúa Junior Marketing Association (MJMA) is dedicated to equipping its members with the essential skills and knowledge in marketing and business through various activities.



The event will be held at Mapúa Cardinal Cinema in Makati Campus on July 19, 2024 it will be split into two sessions. The morning session is a Business Symposium with Engr. Louie Villalon (Co-Founder of Dali Innovations), Dr. Francis Aldrine Uy (CEO of USHER Technologies), Ms. Leah Rasay (CEO of Husay Co.), and Ms. Maria Criselda "Krissy" Bisda as their resource speakers. The Afternoon Session is the Competition proper. it will be judged by Engr. Elaine Morales (Executive Director of PhilDev Foundation), Mr. Dhonn Q. Tomas (Associate Dean of Mapúa Universities ETYSB), and Ms. Leah Rasay (CEO of Husay Co.). The cash prize for the champion is a whopping Twenty Thousand Pesos, While it will be Ten Thousand Pesos and Five Thousand Pesos prizes for the 1st and 2nd runner-ups respectively.
